Swarm · Communications & mission coordination

Many aircraft. One mission.

Invictron's swarm stack turns individual unmanned systems into a coordinated team: distributed tasking, shared awareness, and communications that survive jamming and attrition.

The principle

No leader to kill, no link to cut

Centralized control creates a single point of failure. Invictron swarms coordinate peer to peer: every aircraft carries the mission logic, and the team re-plans as conditions change.

  • Distributed tasking. Search areas, tracking assignments, and relay roles are negotiated among aircraft in flight, not dictated from the ground.
  • Mesh communications. Peer-to-peer networking routes data around lost nodes and degraded links, keeping video and track data flowing across the team.
  • Attrition tolerance. When an aircraft drops out (mechanical failure, jamming, or loss), its tasks redistribute automatically and the mission continues.
  • Coordinated action. Synchronized arrival, formation behaviors, and cooperative tracking let multiple aircraft act as one instrument.
  • Bandwidth discipline. Aircraft share tracks and state, not raw video, so coordination holds even over thin, contested links.
Operational patterns

What a coordinated team unlocks

Pattern · Wide-area search

Cover more, faster

The team partitions the search area dynamically, closing gaps left by wind, terrain masking, or a lost teammate.

Pattern · Detect and hand off

Track without breaking station

One aircraft detects; the best-positioned aircraft takes over the track. Custody of a target passes seamlessly across the team.

Pattern · Relay and reach

Extend the network

Aircraft position themselves as communication relays, carrying operator reach beyond line of sight and around terrain.

Demonstration

Coordination, visualized

Concept animation · Distributed search & retasking
Concept: four vehicles partition a search area; on loss of one, the team repartitions and coverage continues without operator input.
